Liberty (KJ) (2001-2007)

2001 - 2007

With the new millennium, the production of the glorious Cherokee XJ drew to a close and the Liberty KJ was called to replace it. It brought a series of innovations, which earned it the title of "the first time vehicle”. In fact it was the first Jeep® produced after the merger between Chrysler and Mercedes Benz, the first vehicle to be powered by Powertech engines, the first to use rack and pinion steering and the first to reintroduce independent front suspension.
